CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Rooms: One night deposit required to confirm reservation.
  • A refund will be given if your unit is cancelled at least 72 hours prior to the arrival time of 2pm on the expected day of arrival, less a $25 administration fee.
  • If cancelled within 72 hours of arrival date your one night deposit will not be refunded.
  • Once checked in, no refund will be made, should guests alter or leave for any reason prior to their reserved departure date.
  • We suggest you invest in travel insurance prior to travelling to safeguard yourself against any unforeseen circumstances.
  • In the event of a ‘no=show’ full payment will be processed and no refunds will be given, we hold no responsibility for incorrect dates booking on the guests behalf.
  • Sites: Full payment is required to confirm reservation.
  • If cancelled a $25 admin fee will apply, regardless of time-frame.
  • Balance of reservation is payable in full on arrival. Payment must be made for the entire duration of the stay booked.
  • If a booking is amended and the stay shortened, no refund will be given unless more than 72 hours’ notice.
  • Refunds will only be made back to the original card that the purchase was made.
  • Online bookings will incur a 2.5% credit card fee.

 

RESERVATION CONDITIONS

  • A booking is only confirmed when a deposit or payment is received and a booking reference number is generated.
  • Any amendments to bookings must be in writing to: stay@wanakakiwi.nz
  • Check in is after 2pm. Check out is by 10am. Late check outs must be pre-arranged.
  • Guests staying in our ‘roofed accommodation’ will be required to provide a valid visa or master card number. We do not accept American express, Amex or debit cards.
  • The card holder and card user that has made the booking, must be present on the duration of the stay
  • If you do not have a valid credit card, a cash bond of 50% of the booking value must be given to be held as security for any damage that may occur in the room.
  • Wanaka Kiwi Holiday Park & Motel staff have the right to upgrade or move guests. We ensure that should this situation arise, guests will not be downgraded on their reserved accommodation.
  • We honour discount for Kiwi Holiday park membership card holders, Apollo motorhomes, NZMCA members (campervan/caravan sites only) & NZ Jet boat association members.
  • Discounts given when membership card sited at check in. These discounts do not apply if you have booked through Online Travel Agents, such as Booking.com, Expedia, Bookit. Please read & understand the terms of conditions for Kiwi Holiday park membership cards & Apollo vans.
  • Kiwi card holders, NZMCA & Apollo vans; only 10% discount on stays up to a total value of $350 in one consecutive stay.
  • Only one membership card/number is valid per site or unit. It cannot be shared with friends and groups booking at same time.
  • Single person rates for campervan sites are not available at peak times.
  • All guests must provide name and contact details at time of booking in. Identification will be required upon check in.
  • If you have booked with an online travel agent (OTA) eg Booking.com you must contact them directly to alter your bookings.

 

  • Accounts:
  • No reduction for early departure or late arrival.
  • Reservations are a contract between Wanaka Kiwi Holiday Park & Motels Limited and the person named on the reservation and is not transferable to any other person. This means that the named person on that site or unit is responsible and liable for all occupants and visitors behaviour and damage.
  • The card holder and card user that has made the booking, must be present on the duration of the stay.
  • Visa & Master card credit cards only accepted. Direct payment can be made to our bank account on request.
  • A penalty of 10% will be added to each invoice if not paid on or before the 20th of the month following invoice.

 

  • Rates/Tarrifs
  • All tariffs are reviewed on a regular basis. Management reserves the right to alter tarrifs without notice.
  • Rates for campervans & tent sites are shown in NZ$ and include GST

Child rates are 0-2 years: Free

Children aged 2-12 years: $12

over 12 years, will be charged as adult price.

  • Rates for rooms
    Child & extra person $20 per person.
  • Extra persons staying, must be approved by management. Extra persons must notify reception on arrival.  Management have the right to decline this.

 

  • Alterations to bookings:
  • Alterations to bookings can be made subject to availability and may require a unit or site change. Alterations to the number of guests, require management approval.

 

  • Please refer to ‘Accounts’ regarding bonds and credit card details being held as security.

 

  • During peak periods (1st December – 30th April) strictly no visitors on site in the Campervan Park.
  • During peak periods (1st December – 30th April) management discourage visitors to the motels. If visitors do come to the holiday park, they MUST check into reception and be advised where to park their vehicle.
  • All visitors must leave the site by 9pm

 

- No Pets allowed on site.

 

  • Spa pool rules
  • Must be strictly adhered to.
  • Children under the age of 18 need to be supervised by an adult always.
  • No loose clothing to be worn in spas. Only suitable swimwear.
  • No glass

 

  • Items Left in Rooms.
  • In the event that you leave a personal item in a unit or at the holiday park, our staff will arrange delivery to your specified address. We cannot guarantee any min/max cost.
  • We will require payment before sending.
  • Payment must include tracking.

 

  • Health & Safety.
  • Please ask to view our Health & Safety Policy and list of Identified Hazards at reception. We have first aid kits located in Reception.
  • We are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for our guests & staff.

 

  • NO SMOKING
  • Smoking is not allowed in any buildings on the premises. If you do, you will be charged appropriate cleaning and loss of income charges.  Please smoke away from open doors and windows and use the ashtrays provided.

 

  • DAMAGE OR THEFT
  • Any damage made to items or accommodation during the length of your stay, will include an appropriate charge for replacement/repair or loss of income.
  • ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR
  • We reserve the right to remove guests from our facility, who are deemed by Wanaka Kiwi Holiday Park & Motel staff, to be behaving in a socially unacceptable way: causing damage, excessive noise, disturbing other guests, using unacceptable language.
  • Quiet time is from 10pm to ensure all guests have an enjoyable stay.
  • Guests must make themselves familiar with our Park rules at time of check in.
  • No refund will be given and charges will apply for any damages caused.
